The Outback Air Race is a unique aviation time trial that spans nearly 3,900 kilometres across some of Australia’s most remote regions. Over 15 days, more than 40 aircraft will make nine stops, all in the name of supporting the RFDS-a service that provides critical aeromedical care to rural and remote Australians. Since 1996, the race has raised close to $4 million, directly funding essential medical equipment for RFDS aircraft and helping to save lives across the country

At Equipment Placement, we understand the importance of reliable support-whether it’s in the field with our mining and construction equipment, or in the sky with the RFDS. Every day, the RFDS retrieves around 28 people in Western Australia alone, delivering emergency and primary healthcare where it’s needed most.
